07 DAYS: ARUSHA/MANYARA/SERENGETI/NGORONGORO

DAY 01: ARUSHA
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, go through immigration and customs. Our representative will brief you on your safari and transfer to your town hotel for dinner and overnight Impala Hotel (H.B)

DAY 02: MANYARA
Drive to Lake Manyara is a small area, but marked by 5 very distinct biospheres, and offering remarkable diversity for its size. The area is famous for its black maned tree-climbing lions. Lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive inside the park, look for a variety of wild game .We may be fortunate enough to spot one of these magnificent fellows while we explore. Dinner and overnight Lake Manyara Hotel (B.L.D)

DAY 03: SERENGETI
Breakfast , proceed to Tanzania’s famous park and as you approach the gate of the Serengeti, one is overwhelmed by a seemingly unending expanse of barren rocky vistas. In Swahili, Serengeti means ‘endless plains’).Its difficult to understand how the wildlife we encounter can survive in this harsh environment. En route, the landscape changes character with the appearance of rocky outcropping ‘kopjes’, which are often the napping places of magnificent prides of the lion, or a cheetah. All meals and overnight Seronera Wildlife Lodge (B.L.D)

DAY 04: SERENGETI
Full day to be spent in Serengeti with both morning and afternoon game-drives or enjoy the lodge’s amenities. (Optional activity at an extra cost – Balloon safari) . All meals and overnight Seronera Wildlife Lodge (B.L.D)

DAY 05: NGORONGORO
Proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in time for a sumptuous lunch. This is the largest unbroken caldera on earth…… large enough to be seen from space. En route we may encounter proud Maasai herding their precious cattle. Visit the Olduvai Gorge ….showing where Leakey found his famous fossil as you continue to this unusual habitat , home to elephant, rhino, zebra, lion, and hyena, fox countless birds and more. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge (B.L.D)

DAY 06: NGORONGORO
Full day at the crater with both morning and afternoon game drives. We’ll picnic in the crater and continue exploration until the sun’s descent brings purple and pink splashing onto the surrounding crater sides. The descent and ascent to the crater rim are breathtaking experiences. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge (B.L.D)

DAY 07: ARUSHA – AIRPORT
Breakfast and leave for Arusha. Light lunch. Drop off airport for your flight back home. END.
